What we collect, and what we never do with it.

We collect what you choose to send us through our forms, plus basic analytics about how the site is used.

Like any website, our host (Netlify) and our font provider (Google Fonts) also receive technical details such as your IP address and browser type when your browser loads our pages.

We don’t sell your information or share it with anyone for their own advertising, and nothing you type into a form is sent to Google Analytics.

Our business intake at /intake/ asks for your name, business name, email, phone, website, social profile, how you heard about us, which service you picked, and your answers about your business. The calculators on our homepage ask for your name and an email or phone number, and save the numbers you chose, the estimate they produced, and, for the industry calculators, your industry. Our contact form asks for your name, email, what your message is about, and your message.

Submissions are stored by Netlify, our website host. Netlify also records the IP address, browser type, and page each submission came from, and checks submissions for spam using Akismet, a spam-filtering service. Netlify then emails each submission to our team so a person can review it.

We use them to review your inquiry, contact you about it by email or phone, and, if we work together, plan that work. We share them only with the services that run our site and email (Netlify, its Akismet spam filter, and our email provider), with service providers who help us do work you hire us for, or when the law requires it. We don’t sell them or share them for advertising.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive (for example from a search, another website, or a campaign link), general device information, approximate location that Google derives from your connection, how long pages stay open, when you click a link to another website or a file, and a few fixed actions such as opening a service, completing a step of the intake, or a successful submission.

For our own actions we send only fixed labels, and for link clicks only the address of the link on our page. We never send your name, email, phone number, business name, or anything you type. The only form details we send are fixed labels, such as which service or industry you picked and which step you finished. Web addresses are sent without their query strings, except standard campaign tags.

No advertising networks or other tracking services run on our site. Google’s advertising features and ad personalization are turned off, and so is Google signals, which would link your visits here to your signed-in Google activity on other sites and devices.

Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_ZQ1J2MYLRW, that recognize your browser when you come back and group your page views into visits. Each expires two years after your most recent visit. Google processes this data as described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services ↗.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics does not load on our site at all. It turns off Google Analytics only: our pages still load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address like any web request.

Do Not Track. Our site doesn’t change what it does when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, because there is no common standard for it. Global Privacy Control is the browser signal we honor.

To see, correct, or delete what you sent us through our forms, send us a request through our contact form. If you became a client, we may need to keep some records, such as invoices. Our analytics data isn’t linked to your name or email, so we can’t look it up that way; clearing your cookies starts you over as a new visitor.

We keep form submissions in our Netlify account and our email for as long as we need them to respond to you, to work with you if you become a client, and to keep ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Google Analytics keeps detailed, visit-level event data for two months and user-level data for up to fourteen months (the settings in our account); summary reports that don’t identify you are kept longer.

Forms are submitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Inside KI Systems, only the people who review inquiries can see submissions, in our Netlify account and our email; Netlify and our email provider store them for us. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your information the way we would want ours treated.

Children. This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes. If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its effective date.
